Sage Intelligence Reporting (Sage Intelligence Report Manager) is an Excel-based reporting tool that pulls data from across your entire Sage ERP system (any module) into a single location so you can slice, dice, and analyze the numbers in a familiar spreadsheet environment. There are seven modules of Sage Intelligence Reporting: Report Manager, Report Viewer, Report Designer, Connector, Olap Module (Analysis Module), Security Manager and License Manager.

The Report Manager provides an interface to create and modify reports. Reports can be grouped into folders, and properties of reports can be reviewed and edited as necessary.

How can you get the Sage Intelligence Report Manager?

New and current Sage 100 ERP customers will receive a single-user Report Manager license for 4.5 as a support plan benefit.

➤ Author new reports (organizing, creating, editing) and filter and clone the standard report templates for management (financial reports, dashboards, financial trend analysis), as well as general ledger sales, purchases, and inventory transactional reports.

➤ Set permissions/security on all reports.

➤ Connection to one ERP company database at a time (if running two or more companies, users can redirect to relevant company connections).

The “free” version provides basic functionality. Please note the following capabilities:

➤ Optional Import/Export functionality requires the purchase of an additional Report Manager license, the Designer module, or Connector module

Steps for Use the Sage Intelligence Report Manager

To access the Report Manager, you have to:

  • Open the Disclosure Management report in Smart View Microsoft Office. See Connecting to Narrative Reporting in Smart View
  • Open a Disclosure Management report.
  • In the Disclosure Management ribbon, click check out and then select manage to open the Report Manager.

There are several important buttons on the Report Manager’s ribbon (on the top of the screen) as well as the shortcut menu which is also called the right-click menu.
