Suppress or Remove QuickBooks Application

Sometimes, you may experience the QuickBooks 2016 Desktop Pro Won’t Start issue if the company file gets damaged/corrupted for some reason or other. 🔷 Click on the header Image Name and arrange the processes alphabetically.  
🔷 From this list, search for the QBW32.exe file.

Save Company File on an Alternate Location

If your company file is currently placed in the network drive, make a copy of it in the local drive of your system. Do the troubleshooting in the network configuration in the file placed in the local drive.

🔷 Create a new folder on the C drive in your system 
🔷 Now open the folder where the company file has been saved
🔷 Press and hold the Control key on your keyboard for some time. Now select the company file and the particular .TLG file for your company file
🔷 Right-click on the file name
🔷 Click Copy
🔷 Open the folder you have just created. Right-click and select ‘paste’ to move the .TLG file to this folder.

Rename .ND and .TLG File Extension

Sometimes, shortening the file name by renaming the .ND and .TLG extension can help solve this issue. Please follow the steps below-
🔷 Open QuickBooks 
🔷 Open the folder where you saved the company file 
🔷 Find out the transaction log file
🔷 Rename it as [company file name] OLD .qbw .TLG. Rename the .ND file similarly. 
🔷 Now try opening the QuickBooks company file again and check if the issue persists.
